some of the paintings i did. 

this week.  A drawing i intend to transfer to pen n ink, done from a friend who was kind enough to pose, and small studies for a larger piece.  The one on the right is a copy.  It used a palette i liked and had a similar lighting/landscape situation to what i was doing.  The painting to the left is a small study of a personal painting.    Still pushing and pulling with that one, but at least i'm not doing it on a 30"x40" canvas.

a small pen and ink sketch i did for a larger piece.  Trying out some new surfaces, application methods and aesthetic qualities. So far just moving.

My painting sold at the 102nd CAC Gold Medal Show to a wonderful lady i was fortunate enough to meet. Many good paintings at the show, i would highly recommend seeing them in person if you can.

This is the piece that got selected to show at the 102nd Gold Medal Exhibition for the California Art Club, opening this Saturday June 1.  Come check out some of the amazing artwork showing till the end of the month at USC Fisher Museum in L.A.
